Even as our share in the world tobacco market was steadily growing, we were venturing into trading of several agro-based products, namely, flowers, rice, oilseeds like groundnut kernels and sesame seeds, spices, pulses, cereals, animal feed, canned fruit juices, etc. Out of these, rice, oilseeds and spices are our more prominent areas of dealing, with our flower business being handled by SOEX Flora.

Warehousing & Processing

The agro-based products we procure, are processed at our own spices/oilseeds processing/cleaning plant, which was set up by the well-known M/s Buhler (India) Pvt. Ltd. The products are stored under optimum conditions and ideal temperatures at our warehouses in Mumbai and Kandla.

The convenient location of our warehouses enables easy procurement of our products from various sources all over India, at the same time, facilitating their quick transport, either by sea or by air, to the destination countries. We offer our customers a wide variety of oilseeds, spices and rice to choose from.

Each variety is thoroughly checked before procurement and is processed & cleaned at our processing and sortex plant in Mumbai. Another sortex plant is coming up fast at our already existing processing house at Kandla to handle larger volumes of our agro-exports. It is then packed using scientifically sound methods, so that its freshness and flavour can be retained over a long period of time.
